Andrew's 10th birthday was at the end of September, but we didn't want the Church Conference to interfere with his party so we waited until this weekend to have his party. We still had fun festivities as a family on his birthday...gave gifts, had his favorite dinner (Chinese from Joy Luck), sang Happy Birthday and had cake & ice-cream. But he still needed a party with friends and extended family.So, this past Saturday, we partied down at our local pool.
We let him invite a handful of friends and we also invited cousins, grandparents, aunts & uncles to make for a rip-roaring group.
We swam for about 2 hours and then moved into the Party Room for pizza, cupcakes and gifts.
Everybody seemed to have a good time...most of all, the birthday boy.
