@J - I agree that the second was my least favorite of the three. The third made a decent redemption effort though it still wasn't as good as the first. Overall I still enjoy the whole franchise and I felt the three films did a good job pulling together a fun story.

And obviously they will head in a new direction - possibly another trilogy?
I definitely wouldn't mind another trilogy...sounds like it's with Blackbeard this time (though Barbosa is still on cast)
this will be interesting....including who's cast.
I'm a bit ashamed to admit this...but after seeing the second one, I wasn't really interested in more. Sad since I'm a huge fan of the actors.
