After 9 years of being parent to the only grandkids on my side of the family, my little sister Jenny just had a new baby, the first cousin for my kids on my side of the family.She went into the hospital yesterday to "get started" around 8 AM. About 12 hours later I called my mom to see if there was any news...sadly (especially for Jenny) there wasn't. She was progressing slowly. Finally this morning at 8:27 AM, the baby was born (she shares the same birthday as my mom, which will be fun).
The kids and I went up to the hospital tonight to see them (Lynette had a church meeting to go to...hopefully she'll get to see her tomorrow). I may be a little biased...but I think she's super cute.
