Another "duh" moment in sales & marketing - the "lolita" bed for girls

OK...so I acknowledge that not everybody has read or is familiar with "classic" literature stories such as Lolita. But there have been many movies & TV shows based on the concept as well as many allusions to it throughout other areas of life.

Anyway, apparently a bed manufacturer decided to make a "lolita" bed designed for little girls.

Apparently a bunch of parents called this innapropriate and had the store stop selling the beds.

I don't understand the problem...what's the matter with giving a 6 year old girl a bed named after a story about a stepdad having sex with his teenage daughter?
