National Games Week has begun

Every year during the week of Thanksgiving, I officially celebrate NATIONAL GAMES WEEK. (Sorry...the website isn't great this year).

The idea is that you pay your tribute to board games by playing a ton of them and promoting them amid your friends and family.

We started this year off on Sunday evening with rousing games of Tikal, Cartagena, Carcassone, Ticket to Ride and Scrabble. It wasn't really my night to win...I actually failed miserably throughout the night, failing to win at anything except Carcassone. But I had a ton of fun.

The next couple of days are filled with work, homework and school...but once Thanksgiving rolls around, the gaming will take over once again.

Game on!
